1. Gautam Adani wealth on a free fall it is now below $50 billion
Billionaire and poster boy of Indian Entrepreneurship, Gautam Adani saw his net worth slip to less than $50 billion as of February 20. Bloomberg Billionaires Index states that Billionaires Net Worth stands at $49.1 billion and is 25th on Global Rich list. Meanwhile Forbes Real Time Billionaire List has ranked Adani at 25th spot and pegged his net worth at $47.6 billion.
2. India’s Economy will register 6% growth in 2023-24: Ex Niti Aayog Vice Chairman
Ex Niti Aayog Vice Chairman, Rajiv Kumar has stated that India is poised to grow at 6% next fiscal and the country can preserve with a high growth rate because of the structural reforms undertaken during last eight years by Narendra Modi Government.

4. Indian Navy plans for a Vikrant size Aircraft carrier , before Vikramaditya bids adieu
After extensive refits and overhauling, India’s Flagship Aircraft Carrier Vikramaditya is all set to sail and lead the fleet of potent and lethal Indian warships. However, Naval Planners are finalizing plans for INS Vikrant size indigenous Aircraft Carrier (IAC ) – 2, with some modifications. If everything goes as per the plans IAC-2, will join the service before INS Vikramaditya retires. However, despite making efforts to place orders for a Vikrant size Aircraft Carrier, the Navy will continue to study the need for a larger and more capable carrier.
5. Govt. deliberates on phased withdrawal of Army from Valley Hinterland
Government has been deliberating on a phased withdrawal of the Army from the Kashmir Valley and it is in discussion with various stakeholders. It has been three and a half years since Union Government revoked special status granted to Jammu and Kashmir amid deployment of large additional troops. Officials in the security establishment have stated that proposal to withdraw the Army from Kashmir hinterland has been under discussion for the last two years and it is at an advanced stage. It has been proposed that CRPF would fill in for the Army personnel removed from the Valley to meet law and order and counter terror operations. If the plan is approved , then the Army will have presence only on the Line of Control (LoC).
