Home buyers: Thane West in Maharashtra was the leading option of those looking to buy a home in 2022. This location was often searched. Whitefield in Bengaluru came in second place. Noida Extension in Delhi-NCR was the third most searched for place to reside in India. Thane West was the most searched for home purchase in the Mumbai region during the 2022 calendar year, according to Housing.com. In terms of residential property searches, New Town in Kolkata and Mira Road East in Mumbai were ranked fourth and fifth, respectively.
A lot of interest in purchasing apartments for less than Rs 50 lakh
After Mumbai, Bangalore, and Noida, Ahmedabad’s Chandkheda was placed sixth among the most sought cities for home purchase. Wakad in Pune, Kharghar in Pune, Gota and Vastral in Ahmedabad followed. These are the top ten trending topics from last year. Sixty percent of clients were trying to buy a home, while the remaining forty percent were looking to rent a home. Aside from that, there has been a lot of interest in purchasing apartments for less than Rs 50 lakh. Interest in new apartments and properties priced between Rs 1 lakh and Rs 2 crore is also predicted in the coming days.

Lucknow has the greatest number of home searches
Experts predict that Tier 2 cities will witness an increase in demand for residential property in the coming days, as online property searches for flats increase. Despite rising interest rates, residential property sales were solid in the current quarter. Lucknow has the greatest number of home searches among Tier 2 cities. It was then followed by Jaipur and Indore. According to the research, searches for residential properties priced between Rs 1-2 crore are expected to increase by 24% year on year in 2022, while searches for new flats are expected to increase by 52%. Internet searches for residences with three bedrooms or more have surged by up to 1.4 times. Simultaneously, internet property searches for rental houses have climbed 1.5 times by 2022.
