Top 5 Vehicles: The holiday shopping season is quickly approaching, so automakers are preparing their launches and aggressive sales on their current product lines. Typically, individuals choose to purchase cars at this lucky time of year. We have some exciting launches/unveils planned for the holiday season, including some EVs, a hybrid SUV, and new limited editions.
The top 5 Vehicles that experts are anticipating this holiday season are as follows:
- Maruti Grand Vitara
The Grand Vitara’s price will be made public by Maruti just before Navtratri/Durga Puja begins. Price information for Toyota’s rival, the Hyryder, shows that powerful hybrid variants range from Rs 15.11 lakh to Rs 18.99 lakh. Therefore, we anticipate that the Grand Vitara will have a comparable price. Self-charging strong-hybrid and mild-hybrid powertrains will be available for the new Maruti small SUV, with the former promising to deliver 27.97 kmpl. The all-wheel drivetrain, which will be available with the mild hybrid manual models, will be its other segment-first attraction.
2. Tata Tiago EV
The Tiago EV will be unveiled by Tata on September 28 during the Navratri festival. It will likely start at around Rs 10 lakh, making it the most inexpensive mass-market EV in India. The Tiago EV’s battery pack could be smaller than the Tigor EV’s, which has a 26kWh pack and a 306-kilometer range. We anticipate that the electric hatchback will have a practical range of 200–250 kilometres.
3. Mahindra XUV300 Sportz
This Diwali, Mahindra is anticipated to release the XUV300 Sportz variant. It will be powered by a 1.2-liter T-GDI turbo-petrol engine with 130 PS, 20 PS more than the standard petrol models. In addition, it might receive some exterior and interior cosmetic updates and is probably based on the top-tier models of the subcompact SUV.
4. Mercedes Benz EQS 580
The performance-oriented AMG EQS 53 was Mercedes-second Benz’s electric vehicle for India, and the EQS 580 will soon be available for purchase as well. The EQS 580 will be the high-end automaker’s first locally built EV in India, which should aid in containing costs. With a 107.8 kWh battery pack, it is said to have a 770-kilometer range. Its dual electric motor states that it is capable of producing 523PS and 856Nm. The rest of the amenities, such as seat massagers, gesture controls, rear seat entertainment systems, and top-of-the-line rear seat conveniences, are known as it is an electric S-Class.
5. BYD Atto 3
BYD is getting ready to unveil another car after recently announcing its entry into the private electric vehicle market with the E6 MPV. The Atto 3 electric SUV is positioned as a more expensive competitor to the Hyundai Kona electric and MG ZS EV with a projected starting price of roughly Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom). It is anticipated to be available with two battery packs, each with a claimed range of 420 and 50 kilometres under the WLTP. A spinning touchscreen system, motorised front seats, a panoramic sunroof, and ADAS are additional options.
