Gurugram: According to police, the traffic challan can now be paid for online in Gurugram, using Paytm, or via UPI as of Thursday. In a city like Gurugram, the majority of people make digital payments, according to Virender Vij, DCP traffic.

He added that the procedure for paying the traffic challan via UPI or online will begin on Thursday. With this in mind, the traffic challan fine can now also be paid using these methods.
Police reported that over 14 lakh challans were paid by traffic rule violators in Gurugram this year, for a total of more than Rs 31 crore.
What did the DCP say?
“The Gurugram Police is ready to ensure orderly and smooth operation of traffic. This year, an initiative was started to issue challan to those changing lanes by monitoring with the help of drones for the first time,” said DCP Vij.
