UP News: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, emphasizing entrepreneurship as a powerful means for economic prosperity, urged the state’s youth to pursue entrepreneurial ventures. He assured that the government would provide full support to those willing to start their own businesses. While inaugurating PepsiCo’s bottling plant, established at a cost of ₹1,170 crore, CM Yogi announced the upcoming Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Yojana, under which the government will offer interest-free loans of up to ₹10 lakh to young entrepreneurs.
Aiming to Foster a Safe and Secure Investment Environment
The Chief Minister also criticized the opposition, stating that investments come only when there is a secure environment. “If people themselves are not safe, how can capital investments be secure?” he remarked. Yogi Adityanath credited the state’s zero-tolerance policy on crime for creating this safe environment, which he noted has caused discomfort to those whose profession is crime.
49-Acre Bottling Plant on Gorakhpur Link Expressway
Spread over 49 acres, the newly inaugurated bottling plant along the Gorakhpur Link Expressway will produce carbonated soft drinks and dairy products. Highlighting the positive change in the state’s investment climate, CM Yogi said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already urged the youth to step forward and take advantage of the business opportunities available.
Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Yojana
Under this new scheme, young entrepreneurs will receive interest-free loans in two phases—₹5 lakh in the first phase and ₹10 lakh in the second phase. The initiative aims to encourage entrepreneurship and self-reliance while also generating employment opportunities for others.
Millions of Jobs Created Under Yogi Government
CM Yogi also mentioned that the Uttar Pradesh government has provided government jobs to 650,000 youth and helped 2 crore youth find employment and self-reliance through private sector jobs and self-employment. He added that 60 lakh youth have been provided with employment tools, and the state’s One District, One Product (ODOP) initiative has garnered global attention, creating large-scale job opportunities.
Concluding his remarks, CM Yogi emphasized that Uttar Pradesh has become a favored destination for investment, thanks to its improved Ease of Doing Business initiatives.
