Inauguration of Vande Bharat Express
On Saturday, the Vande Bharat Express was launched from the Ayodhya Dham railway station to Anand Vihar. At 12:12 PM, the train departed from Ayodhya Cantt and arrived at Charbagh railway station at 2:37 PM. There was, on the one hand, a happy vibe among the passengers about the train. However, there was also talk about the train’s amenities and fares. Due to the high fares, it is feared that passengers may choose not to board the train.
Fare Details for Vande Bharat Express
On January 4, the chair car fare in Vande Bhatar is Rs 1410 from Lucknow to Anand Vihar, while the executive class fare is Rs 2595. which costs more than Tejas Express and Shatabdi. Beginning on January 4, the Lucknow Vande Bharat Express (22425/26) will connect Ayodhya Cantt with Anand Vihar. Additionally, food service will be available to passengers on the train; the cost of this service will be covered by the ticket. The catering fee for the train’s chair car has been maintained at Rs 308 and for the executive class at Rs 369. Other than Wednesday, the train will run the remaining days of the week. Ayodhya Cantt-Anand Vihar Vande Bharat (22426) will depart at 6.10 am from Anand Vihar, arrive at Kanpur Central at 11 am, arrive at Charbagh station at 12.25 pm, and arrive at Ayodhya Cantt at 2.30 pm in return.
Warm Reception at Charbagh Station
On Saturday afternoon, a pleasant atmosphere pervaded Charbagh railway station as the Vande Bharat Express, which was travelling from Ayodhya Cantt to Anand Vihar via Lucknow, arrived. Holding the tricolour in their hands and chanting Bharat Mata, the crowd had come to greet the train. The train had arrived at platform one, where another platform had been constructed. Present were also Rajya Sabha MP Brijlal, Additional Railway Manager Shivendra Shukla, Station Director Prashant Kumar, Mayor Sushma Kharkwal, BJP leader Neeraj Singh, and City President Anand Dwivedi.
PM Modi Flags Off Vande Bharat Express
The train left at 12:12 pm after PM Modi showed the green flag from Ayodhya Dham. Reached Charbagh railway station at 02:37 pm. Here too many school children were given a chance to board the train, which went till Kanpur and were brought back to Lucknow by another train. Pilot and crew members of Vande Bharat Express Motilal Tiwari, Ashish Verma, KK Sachan described the experience as wonderful. Although he has run Vande Bharat before also. Not only are there facilities inside the train, there are also many facilities in the pilot cabin.
