Vande Bharat Special Train: In a bid to accommodate passengers during the festive season of 2024, Indian Railways has announced the operation of multiple special trains, including two Vande Bharat Festival Specials and one Tejas Festival Special train. These services will help manage the surge in travelers during the busy festival period. Below are the details of these special trains:

- Delhi Junction–Patna Junction Superfast Special (Train No. 02249/02250)
- Departure from Delhi: 11:00 PM
- Arrival in Patna: 11:55 PM
- Running Dates: October 24, 2024, and October 31, 2024.
- Stops: Govindpuri, Prayagraj Junction, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction, Buxar, Ara, Danapur.
- New Delhi–Patna Vande Bharat Festival Special (Train No. 02251/02252)
- Departure from New Delhi: 8:25 AM
- Arrival in Patna: 7:30 PM
- Running Dates from New Delhi: October 30, November 1, November 3, and November 6, 2024.
- Stops: Kanpur Central, Prayagraj Junction, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction.
- Daurai–Badhni Weekly Special (Train No. 09657/09658)
- Departure from Daurai: Saturdays from October 12, 2024, to November 16, 2024.
- Departure from Badhni: Sundays from October 13, 2024, to November 17, 2024.
- Stops: Ajmer, Jaipur, Mathura, Kanpur, Barabanki, Gonda, Balrampur, and more.
- Lucknow–Chhapra Vande Bharat Festival Special (Train No. 02269/02270)
- Departure from Lucknow: Daily (except Tuesdays) starting October 25, 2024.
- Stops: Sultanpur, Varanasi, Ghazipur City, Ballia, Suraimanpur.
- New Delhi–Howrah Superfast Festival Special (Train No. 04073/04074)
- Departure from New Delhi: October 29 and 31, November 2 and 5, 2024.
- Arrival in Howrah: Following day at 5:00 AM.
- Stops: Kanpur Central, Prayagraj, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction, and more.
- New Delhi–Jaynagar Superfast Special (Train No. 04051/04052)
- Departure from New Delhi: October 26, 29, November 1, and 4, 2024.
- Stops: Govindpuri, Prayagraj Junction, Gaya, and Darbhanga Junction.
These festival special trains aim to enhance passenger convenience and cater to the increased travel demand during key Hindu festivals such as Navratri, Dussehra, and Diwali.
