Vande Bharat Train: The new Vande Bharat train, which Indian Railways plans to operate between Bhagalpur and Howrah, will improve passenger connectivity and convenience. Around 439.57 kilometers will be covered by the new Vande Bharat train, with stops along the way at significant locations like Sahibganj, Barharwa, Azimganj, Katwa, and Naudibadham. But the official declaration won’t come until after the polls.
Operational Schedule
With the exception of Tuesdays from Howrah and Wednesdays from Bhagalpur, the new Vande Bharat train will operate six days a week. At 6:15 a.m., it will depart from Bhagalpur and arrive in Howrah at 2:25 p.m.
The journey back will commence at 1:30 pm from Howrah and arrive in Bhagalpur by 9:55 pm. Eight of the coaches on the Vande Bharat train are specifically made to be chaircar coaches. Without sleepers, these coaches offer a comfortable travel experience.
Launch Date Announcement
It is anticipated that the Bhagalpur-Howrah Vande Bharat train will take seven hours and thirty minutes, making it the quickest way to get between these two cities. The announcement of Bhagalpur-Howrah Vande Bharat Service’s official launch date will follow the conclusion of the Lok Sabha elections and the establishment of the new government.
For improved connectivity, Indian Railways is launching three new Vande Bharat Metro trains in addition to the Bhagalpur-Howrah service. These services will run from Howrah to Jamalpur, from Bhagalpur to Bhagalpur via Deoghar, and from Bhagalpur to Bhagalpur. These trains will be able to travel between 110 and 130 km/h at their fastest.
