Viral Video: On Thursday night in Thalassery, a district in north Kerala, a man viciously kicked a six-year-old immigrant boy for impressively leaning on his car.
On Friday morning, the accused was brought into jail by police as the horrifying CCTV images of the wrongly act spread on social media and began to get viral.
The youngster, who comes from a family of migrant workers from Rajasthan, was allegedly seen in the video standing next to a car that was stopped alongside a busy road. The boy was observed being viciously kicked on his chest by the enraged man, who then asked the boy a question before the boy fled discreetly. Watch Video:
Shihshad, who is from a nearby town called Ponyampalam, was seen by some locals questioning his inhumane act. He was overheard defending his actions by claiming that the boy had been standing close to his vehicle for some time.
The accused drove away from the scene shortly after. Although the police were alerted of the occurrence, the locals claimed that they did not take it seriously. Police officers did, however, finally detain the suspect when social media users shared images of the act.
A complaint would soon be filed, according to Thalassery MLA and Assembly Speaker AN Shamseer, and the culprits would face harsh punishment. “How cruel is it to kick away a six-year old for leaning on a car. All legal action will be ensured. Such incidents should not be repeated,” the minister said.
