Volkswagen Taigun: VW India has incorporated numerous new features to its two most popular models in the Indian market, the Taigun and Virtus. The Taigun SUV and Virtus Sedan are both part of the company’s India 2.0 initiative and are built on the MQB A0 IN platform. Remember that the Taigun debuted in 2021, whereas the Virtus debuted a year later. The Volkswagen Taigun will now have the option of auto headlights and auto coming/leaving home lights. This option will now be available in the Virtus GT model as well. Aside from that, all types of this car now have rear fog lamps.

Both of these VW vehicles have a 5-star GNCAP safety rating. In addition, both models will have manual and automatic transmission options, as well as 1.0L TSI and 1.5L TSI petrol engines.

Not only that, but the business has also announced that the 2023 variants of both of these models have been modified and will now comply with the new RDE emission requirements that will be in effect for automobiles beginning April 1, 2023. These versions will also be able to run on E20 gasoline.

For your information, Volkswagen has announced that the business will raise the cost of all of its cars by 2% beginning next month.
VW Taigun has become the company’s best-selling vehicle, with 1657 units sold in the previous month, February. Last month, though, sales of 1563 Virtus units were registered.
