Weather Update: The monsoon is not ending and according to IMD the heavy rainfall will continue in several Indian states for a few more days now. The metrological department has put a few states under danger warning as well.
The Metrological Department has stated that Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Telangana will face heavy rainfall for a week at least. Other states are also being put into the danger criteria.
IMD has also stated that the heavy rainfall that Maharastra is facing for a few days will continue for the next 24 hours. Metrological Department also issued an orange alert in a few isolated parts of Maharastra.
Weather Update: Delhi
Many areas of Delhi received heavy to moderate rainfall yesterday and the trend will continue for the next few days. The temperature will be between 30 degrees to 26 degrees with Thundershower over the isolated areas.
Mumbai
The heavy rainfall will continue in Mumbai along with a few more Maharashtrian states. IMD has predicted intense rainfall over various parts of Mumbai. The temperature will be between 28 degrees and 26 degrees in flood-like situations.
Chennai
Just like yesterday, the sky will remain cloudy with very less chance of rainfall. The monsoon is predicted to enter the state capital on Monday. The temperature will be between 36 degrees to 28 degrees.
Kolkata
The rainfall will remain prevalent in the city as intense thundershowers are expected in isolated areas of the city. The temperature will remain between 32 degrees and 27 degrees.
