Weather Update: Jammu-Srinagar highway closed down amidst heavy rain as a part of the road collapsed. The situation was dire in other states as well as Southern India faced very heavy rainfall affecting the day-to-day lives of residents.

Delhi/NCR also faced heavy rainfall in the early hours of Saturday. The rain showers were prevalent for the whole day embarking the complete arrival of the monsoon. The nearby cities of Delhi also faced heavy rainfall. 

IMD also predicted heavy rainfalls for the next 4-5 days in the states of Jammu, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh. Every resident is advised to pay caution and roam safely. 

Delhi

Delhi/NCR also faced heavy rainfall in the early hours of Saturday. The national capital also experienced the lowest temperature of the season. Today’s temperature will fluctuate between 29 degrees to 26 degrees.

Weather Update: Mumbai

Mumbai is in between the heaviest rainfall they have seen in recent times and the situation will change for the drastic in the upcoming days. For today, the temperature will be between 29 degrees and 27 degrees with 80% humidity. 

Chennai

IMD has predicted heavy rainfall for Chennai and other parts of Tamil Nadu for the next few days. Every resident is asked to pay caution as school might once again shut down. The temperature for today will be between 35 degrees and 27 degrees. 

Kolkata

Kolkata will once again face fluctuating temperatures and high levels of humidity. The situation will get under control in the upcoming days. This weather has resulted in many residents getting sick over the weekend. Today’s temperature will be between 32 degrees and 27 degrees.
