Weather Update: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued orange and yellow warnings for heavy rain in various states, including East Uttar Pradesh, West Madhya Pradesh, Bihar including Patna, Jharkhand ,vcf, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and Arunachal Pradesh, until February 14. According to the IMD, rainfall is forecast in Uttar Pradesh and southeast Uttar Pradesh on February 14. In the lower troposphere, cyclonic circulation exists over Marathawada and another over South Vidarbha. As a result, East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Jharkhand (Ranchi) might expect rain, thunderstorms, and lightning during February 14 and 15.

According to IMD, there is a high probability of dense fog in certain areas of Odisha. Squally winds with gusts up to 55 kmph are anticipated to prevail over the Comorin region and the nearby Gulf of Mannar. It is advised that fishermen avoid these regions. In the mid-troposphere, a Western Disturbance is a trough that roughly stretches from Lat. 30°N to long 68°E. In the lower troposphere, an induced cyclonic circulation is located over south Haryana and its surroundings. Under their influence on February 14, 2024, there is a very good chance of snowfall and light, isolated showers over Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh, as well as light rainfall over Haryana and East Rajasthan.
