PAK vs ENG: Between Pakistan and England is being played a series of three Test matches. England has defeated Pakistan in both of the matches it has played so far to take a commanding 2-0 series lead. From December 17 to December 21, the third Test match will also be played in Karachi. Imam ul Haq, the team’s opening batsman, has been captured on camera. wherein he got into a contentious argument with a journalist. Please note that Imam is pictured playing for Pakistan’s ODI and Test teams but not their T20 squad.
Journalist asked him about white ball cricket
The journalist asked the imam, “Why are you seen playing us in red ball cricket but not in white ball cricket?” in reference to this. This surprised the imam a little, and he told the reporter, “I don’t understand your question.” whereafter the journalist asked the same question again.
Imam-ul-Haq’s international career
“Sir, are you talking about ODIs or T20 in white ball cricket?” the Imam then said. “So let me tell you that in the six years that I have been playing ODIs, I have, thankfully, never been cut from the team. However, if we are talking about 20, there is a place for an opener based on the performances Babar and Rizwan have given there over the past two to three years.” Imam-ul-Haq has so far played 18 Test matches, 54 ODIs and 2 T20 matches for Pakistan.
