Jimmy Pearson turned the bat on this ball, and the ball struck the edge of the bat. Lag was eluding wicketkeeper Matthew Gilks, but the keeper made a brilliant leap in the air and took a one-handed catch.

In the match being played between Brisbane Heat and Sydney Thunder, the Brisbane Heat team won the toss and decided to bowl first. The Sydney Thunder team, which came out to bat first, scored 182/6 runs in 20 overs. For the Sydney team, Daniel Sam, batting brilliantly in the end, played an excellent inning of 36 runs in just 15 balls. So in response, the Brisbane Heat team also left no stone unturned to chase the target and till the time of writing the news, the Brisbane team needs 33 runs in 16 balls.
