Akshay Kumar: The Khiladi of Bollywood is 56 years old now and he decided to celebrate his birthday by visiting the Mahakaleshwar Temple. The star was accompanied by his son and his sister.
His happiness would have been increased when he saw another Indian celebrity in the Nandi Hall of the temple. Former Indian opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan was also there for the aarti.
A video was posted by PTI showcased the two stars in the divinne intervention as both of them were in the ‘Bhasma Aarti.’ Both of them were chanting Mahakal’s name and were sining the hymns.
Akshay Kumar Booked The Hall
The Kumar family arrived at the hall around 2 AM to attend the aarti on time. To attend this special pooja he booked the entire hall and was accompanied by his his son, his sister, and his niece.
Shikhar Dhawan was already sitting in the front when the actor’s family arrived and was enjoying the aarti. The Indian cricketer was alone and was not accompanied by anyone else. So it was good that he found Akshay Kumar as a companion.
Later in the aarti, the actor stood right behind Dhawan as both of them were clapping to the chants and aarti of Mahakal. The devotees offered water to Lord Mahakal at the end of the aarti.
Prayed For Indian Team Victory
Later, the duo was interacting with the press and were grateful that they could visit the temple. Dhawan stated that he asked for Indian team victory against Pakistan in the ongoing Asia Cup 2023.
Akshay Kumar jokingly replied that these are small things and he should have asked for something bigger than that from Mahakal. He later stated that Dhawan should have asked for the development of country.
