Anushka Sharma, the gorgeous Bollywood actress and wife of the popular Indian cricketer Virat Kohli, never leaves a chance to cheer for her husband and Team India. Currently, team India is playing the Cricket World Cup 2023 and continuing the winning run with consecutive wins in every match. Anushka Sharma always supports the team with her presence in the stadium and when she can’t do that she uses social media to cheer for the team. The same happened recently as the team defeated Sri Lanka and finalized their semi-final spot in the World Cup.
Anushka Sharma cheers for team India
The actress is one of the greatest fans of Virat Kohli and the Indian Cricket Team. Yesterday, team India showed dominance in batting and bowling. They scored 357 runs with the loss of 8 wickets. The pacers ripped apart Sri Lanka and bowled them out for just 55 runs. After the match, India officially qualified for the semi-final spot and Anushka celebrated this achievement. The actress took to her Instagram account to show her love for the team. She shared a post of @indiancricketteam to her Instagram story with the caption, “This team” (blue heart emoji).
However, Virat Kohli failed to score a century but his 88 in 94 balls showed his excellence and brilliance. Apart from him, Shubhman Gill and Shreyas Iyer also scored big and took India to a defending total. Mohammed Shami’s 5-wicket haul became the reason for the devastation of Sri Lanka’s batting order.
