England and Australia both will be hoping for a lesser quarantine rules for the Ashes later this year.
It was learnt that palyers and support staffs have spoken about the “bubble fatigue” and wanted relief from it.
As per reports Cricket Australia’s medical experts have also acknowledged the cumulative stress on the players due to bio-bubbles.
In an article for British Association of Sport and Exercise Medicine, Matt Burgin, CA’s mental health lead and Dr. John Orchard the chief medical officer wrote about the increasing number of players finfing hard to be in the bubble.
“In the same newsletter, the Professional Cricketers Association director of development and welfare services, Ian Thomas, articulated the mounting costs of bio-security to the mental health of cricketers,” the article said.
