Asia Cup 2023: The biggest continental tournament is ready to begin at 3:00 PM on Wednesday with a bang. The first match of the tournament will be held at the Multan Stadium between Pakistan and Nepal.
The opening ceremony of Asia Cup 2023 will also be held at the same ground before the match. The curtain raiser event of the tournament will feature one singer from Pakistan and one from Nepal as the highlights.
Aima Baig from Pakistan and Trishala Gurung from Nepal will be performing at the opening ceremony of Asia Cup 2023. Both of the singers have confirmed it on their social media profiles as well.
Who Will Perform At Asia Cup 2023 Opening Ceremony?
Both Aima Baig and Trishala Gurung amass a huge following in their respective nations. Aima has more than 5 million followers on her Instagram account meanwhile Trishala is also running close to that million number.
The ceremony will start at 2:00 PM as confirmed by the official ‘X’ account of Pakistan Cricket. The opening ceremony will be followed by the opening match between Pakistan and Nepal.
The opening ceremony will be streamed live on Disney+ Hotstar and as it was previously declared the Asia Cup 2023 tournament will be free for every user.
Pakistan Playing XI
Pakistan Cricket Team has already announced their playing XI for the opening match. Babar Azam will take the helm of the team with Shadab Khan being the deputy captain of the team.
Mohammad Rizwan will be the wicketkeeper followed by Fakhar Zaman, Imam-ul-Haq, Salman Ali Agha, and Iftikhar Ahmed handling the batting lineup. Mohammad Nawaz, Naseem Shah, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Haris Rauf will be in charge of the bowling lineup.
