Aus Vs Eng Ashes 2023: The first day of the second Ashes 2023 was filled with amazing moments. So many runs, two amazing dismissals by Josh Tongue, Sensational inning by Smith, yet the best moment came right after the first over.
Several protestors wearing the ‘Just Stop Oil’ T-Shirt jumped into the ground. They started spilling orange color all over Lord’s ground. Lord’s is the mecca of cricket, and doing this was a disrespect to the ground as well as the game of cricket.
Just Stop Oil protestors have been intercepting many major events across the whole UK. And this time, they chose the Ashes match to protest. But Jonny Bairstow made sure that no one could harm the ground in his presence.
Aus Vs Eng Ashes 2023: Superman Bairstow
Before the start of the second over, two men and one woman jumped over the barricade to interrupt the game. But Jonny Bairstow tackled one man on his own and lift him up. Jonny picked up the man and carried him off the pitch into the stands, where security tackled him.
Ben Stokes and David Warner stopped another male protestor with the help of security. The security also tackled the female protestor, and all of them were taken out of the ground, where the police arrested all three of them.
The bravery of Jonny Bairstow was acknowledged and praised by everyone on the ground. Fans cheered for him, David Warner and Usman Khawaja were surprised by the superhuman feat, and his teammate had a good laugh about it.
Aussie Domination on First Day
