Marnus Labushagne did not let a very small opportunity of reminding Bairstow about his run-out leave. The banter between the players was really fun and even the fans enjoyed it. Marnus was like a proud man who had conquered the world.

Marnus left the last delivery on the first day of the final test and started to leave the crease. Jonny Bairstow saw that and was ready to throw the ball towards the stump just like Alex Carey.
But Labushagne deliberately kept the bat inside the crease for a long time ensuring that Bairstow saw that. He left the crease only after the umpire declare the end of the play. And even then he was dragging the bat while looking at the English keeper. The English keeper was not able to do anything except showcase a dry grin.

Apparently, this incident leads to a very interesting conversation between James Anderson and Marnus. As Labushagne was leaving the ground, James looked at him and said “We don’t do that here.”
Stating that the England team does not do run-outs like that and he has nothing to worry about. Labushagne ignored the remarks and left for the dressing room after successfully surviving on the first day.
