Mitchell Starc injury

AUS vs SA: The third day of the Boxing Day test between Australia and South Africa is now complete, and Australia has firmly established their dominance. Due to the rain, the day was over an hour early, but none of the teams were inconvenienced. Australian players will receive some well-deserved relaxation as a result of South Africa managing to avoid the final play of the day.

Australia shows up dominance in the test

Anrich Nortje of South Africa was at his best in the morning, bowling a devastating session and dismissing David Warner and Travis Head. While all-rounder Cameron Green came out to bat despite being injured, Australia’s Alex Carey recorded his first test century.

At 575-8, Australia declared the innings after Green reached his half-century. Before the rain came, South Africa lost one wicket for 15 runs in the second innings. Green won’t bowl any more during the game, but Australian fans enjoyed watching Mitch Starc bowl for their team.

Mitchell Starc bowls with ‘bloodied’ hands in AUS vs SA test

Everyone was taken aback when Australian bowler Mitchell Starc arrived to bowl in South Africa’s second innings. It would have been difficult for the Australian team to bowl with Green already injured, but despite getting hurt in the first innings, the senior Australian pacer accepted the task.

In an attempt to make a catch, Starc cut his finger, and as a result, he had trouble bowling in the nets. Starc’s injury wasn’t too bad, according to Nathan Lyon. The Australian innings began with Starc bowling the opening over before coming on to bat.

Starc, however, is obviously in pain as he plays, and he constantly displays a grimace of misery. The bleeding from his finger is visible in several of the images that have been made public. The fact that the left-arm pacer is still competing for his country while in agony shows that he has a very professional approach.
