AUS vs WI: Marnus Labuschagne, an Australian batsman, is now just the eighth person to score a century and a double century in the same Test match, with a “little bit of luck” helping him to pull off the exceptional feat.
At the start of the fourth day’s lunch break, Australia declared their second innings of the first Test against the West Indies at 182/2, giving the visitors a 498-run lead. However, Labuschagne had enough time to score a century and continued to bat 104 not out.

Steve becomes third highest-century scorer for Australia
Smith too batted brilliantly in his 88th test match to tie former Australian batting icon Don Bradman. Only Steve Waugh (32) and Ricky Ponting (41) have scored more hundreds for Australia. Smith was more cautious, only scoring nine boundaries in 179 balls for his century. Following his 145 not out against Sri Lanka in Galle earlier this year, Smith has scored two centuries in three innings.
After scoring 215 against New Zealand in Sydney in January 2020, Labuschagne now has two centuries in as many months. Out of 350 balls, he hit a six and 20 fours during his 483 minutes of batting. In the second inning he remained 20 not out.
