Delhi Capitals pace bowler Avesh Khan has revealed that he received praise from the Indian and Royal Challengers skipper Virat Kohli after taking his wicket.
“I spoke with Kohli during IPL when DC played RCB. He told me that I bowled well and should continue doing this,” Khan told Cricket Next on Saturday.
Avesh was the second-highest wicket-taker in this year’s IPL after RCB’s Harshal Patel. Avesh grabbed 14 wickets in his eight games for the Delhi Capitals with top wickets like Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Virat Kohli.
“Both (Dhoni and Kohli) are legends of Indian cricket. I enjoyed dismissing both of them. For a budding cricketer like me, they were joyous occasions,” added Khan.
