BBL 2022: Asif Ali, a batsman for the Pakistani team, recently hit a rocket six in the Big Bash League. He launched the ball into the stands while standing up, directly over the bowler. This six demonstrated power as well as excellent timing. The bowler was shocked to see that the ball had hit the bat with more force than he had intended when he turned to face the stands. Playing for the Hobart Hurricanes is Asif Ali. His team faced the Sydney Thunder in the Big Bash League’s 22nd game. Sydney Thunder scored 228 runs in this match while bowling first and losing 6 wickets in 20 overs. Oliver Davis scored 65 runs, while Alex Hales scored 77 for Sydney.
Asif Ali’s team lost by 62 runs
The Hobart Hurricanes team could only manage 17 overs while attempting to score 228 runs, which reduced their total to 166 runs. For the Hobart Hurricanes, Matthew Wade contributed a big inning of 67 runs, but no other batsman could match him, and as a result, the team was defeated by a huge margin of 62 runs.
Asif Ali flopped but won hearts with six
In this match, Asif Ali also came up short. Only 7 runs were scored by him. There was a six in it. Ben Cutting made Asif Ali his victim. Even though Asif didn’t contribute much to the team, his rocket six won the fans’ affection.
