Belgrade Open: Djokovic reaches semifinal after crushing Coria

Novak Djokovic, the World Number reached the semifinals of the Belgrade Open after crushing Federico Coria in straight sets to reach the semi-finals of the Belgrade Open on Thursday.

Djokovic beat Coria 6-1, 6-0 in just 56 minutes to record his 952nd career win as a professional.

This has put him fifth on all-time list match wins in the Open Era. Argentina’s great Guillermo Vilas (951).

Djokovic will now be up against Dusan Lajovic or qualifier Andrej Martin.

Coria was appearing in only his third tour-level quarter-final and struggled to find anyway past Djokovic.
