Bharat vs India: A tweet by Virender Sehwag has gone viral amidst the speculations of the name change of the country. The opposition party on Tuesday alleged that the Rastrapati Bhawan has sent the invitation to the G20 dinner with the ‘President Of Bharat’ as the inviter rather than the ‘President of India.’
Congress party leader Jairam Ramesh has come out and sarcastically commented to change Article 1 of the constitution to ‘Bharat’ rather than ‘India.’. AAP leader Raghav Chadha has also shared the screenshot of the G20 invitation.
Virender Sehwag Tweet Went Viral
Amidst the speculations and controversies, a tweet by Virender Sehwag during the Ind vs Pak Asia Cup 2023 match has gone viral. The tweet is nothing special as the former Indian opener was only joking regarding the weather. But one thing has attracted everyone.
In the tweet, Sehwag used the hashtag BHAvsPAK rather than INDvsPAK and it has created a lot of stir. Fans are commenting on the tweet and are asking whether the Indian team name will be changed or not.
Other users are commenting on whether Sehwag has sided with the ruling party and why he tweeted it like that. We don’t know the intentions of the ODI World Cup winner behind this tweet but with recent news, it is garnering mass attention.
One comment read “सहवाग जी इतना भी क्या ruling पार्टी को खुश कर रहे हो की जिस India Cap को इतने साल पहन के खेला आज india तक लिख नहीं पा रहे!”
BCCI To BCCB?
Another tweet that has garnered much attention from cricket fans came from Sivaganga’s Parliament Member, Karti P Chidambaram. As the news regarding the invitation broke out, Chidambaram went to Twitter to show his displeasure.
In one tweet he stated whether the name of BCCI will be changed to BCCB if the speculations are true. Chidambaram has also tagged BCCI in the tweet targeting Jay Shah and demanding answers from the cricket governing body. The Bharat vs India debate will go on for a while but we will have to see how it will affect the Indian cricket team.
