Virat Kohli, on the brink of greatness, is just 64 runs away from reaching the 25,000 international run milestone. He will become only the second player from India and the sixth player in the world to reach this feat, with Sachin Tendulkar (34,357), Kumar Sangakkara (28,016), Ricky Ponting (27,483), Mahela Jayawardene (25,957), and Jacques Kallis (25,534) ahead of him on the list.

Ravichandran Ashwin has his eyes on wicket number 450 in test cricket. With just one wicket to go, he’ll join the exclusive club of only 8 players to reach this achievement, with one being from India. Ashwin is on a roll, having taken 449 wickets in 88 Test matches, and is set to become the second fastest player to reach this milestone, beating Anil Kumble (93).

Mohammed Shami is also inching closer to a major milestone, with only one wicket separating him from reaching 400 wickets in international cricket. This would make him the ninth Indian bowler to reach this mark.

Nathan Lyon and Ravindra Jadeja closing in

Cheteshwar Pujara has his sights set on reaching 2,000 runs against Australia in Test matches. He’s already scored 1,893 runs in 20 matches, and just 107 more will secure him a place among only Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman, and Rahul Dravid as the only Indian players to reach this feat.

Nathan Lyon has a chance to make history as he’s only 6 wickets away from becoming the second player to take 100 wickets in India-Australia Test matches. Currently, the only player to have achieved this is Anil Kumble.

Finally, Ravindra Jadeja is closing in on his 250th wicket in Test cricket, needing only 8 more to reach this feat. This would make him the 8th bowler for India to reach this milestone, with a current average of 24.71 in 60 matches.
