The first test match of Border Gavaskar Trophy between India and Australia is ongoing in Nagpur and India dominate Australia on first day as they bowled out Australia for 177 runs. India started their innings and Captain Rohit Sharma started his first test of Border Gavaskar Trophy with a half century. India bowled out Australia for 177 runs on Thursday at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur, with Rohit Sharma taking responsibility as captain with the score of an unbeaten 56.

Jadeja took five-wicket haul in First Test of Border Gavaskar Trophy

Before KL Rahul was bowled out by Todd Murphy for 20 runs, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul had put up 76 runs partnership for the first wicket. India had 77 for 1 at day’s end. Due to Ravindra Jadeja’s five-wicket haul and Ravichandran Ashwin’s three wickets, hosts India earlier knocked out Australia for a poor total.

Prior to Jadeja and Ashwin tearing apart the Australian batting order, Mohammed Shami and Mohammed Siraj had reduced Australia to 2 for 2 in just 2.1 overs, giving India a great start. With a score of 49, Marnus Labuschagne headed Australia in scoring.
