KL Rahul suffered injury during LSG vs RCB match
During the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore, KL Rahul suffered a torn tendon in his right leg while chasing a ball in the second over. As a result, he had to be assisted off the field and only made a comeback when the chase of 127 runs became unexpectedly challenging. In a brave attempt to win the game, the 31-year-old came out to bat at No. 11. However, due to his injury he couldn’t run between the wickets forcing No. 9 batsman Amit Mishra to face every ball of the final over.
KL Rahul wrote a lengthy caption on his post and shared his feelings with fans. In one of the paragraphs, he stated, “After careful consideration and consultation with the medical team, it’s been concluded that I’ll be undergoing a surgery on my thigh shortly. My focus will be on my rehabilitation and recovery in the coming weeks. It’s a tough call to make, but I know it’s the right one to ensure a full recovery.”
