Glenn Maxwell and Ashton Agar did a good job as well down the order for the team.

Chris Jordan was the leading wicket-taker for the English team and he was well supported by the other bowlers as well. On the other side in the second innings, the England team showed their caliber right from the start of their innings and emerged as the tough side to beat in the game. Jos Buttler drifted the game away from the Aussies and scored 77 runs off 54 balls at a strike-rate of 142.
