Yuzvendra Chahal has become the most wicket taker for India after the completion of the first T20I against England where India lost the match by 8 wickets owing to the bad form by the batting line-up.
Yuzvendra Chahal took wicket of Jos Buttler in the first T20 match with that wicket his wicket tally had reached to 60 which is most by any Indian in T20I. Before Chahal this record was held by fast-bowler Jasprit Bumrah who claimed 59 wickets in 50 matches in T20 International.
It’s shocking to see that the players like Jasprit Bumrah and Yuzvendra Chahal who make their debut after 2016 in T20I for India are the top most wicket takers for India. Indian team has never invested on T20I bowlers and no bowler has been there for the side for more than 3 to 4 years.
India, however, suffered a crushing defeat in the first T20 match. Indian team were able to score just 124 runs in 20 overs while batting first and the English team achieved this feat by losing just two wickets with 27 balls to spare.
