Chris Green: Australian cricketer Chris Green was suspended for one Sydney Grade Cricket match after getting into a physical altercation with a player and receiving threats of being hit. Luke Hodges of Penrith, who was playing for Northern Districts, is said to have threatened to hit Green during a two-day game between the two teams.
Hodges Faces Three-Match Ban
Green was given a ban as a result of his response to the possibility of being struck. Hodges received a three-match ban. In a T201 against India in December of last year, Green—who currently captains Sydney Thunder in the Big Bash League—made his debut on the international scene.

Chris Green is a tall offspinner who was reared in Australia but was born in South Africa. He became well-known for bowling in the T20 powerplay. He balanced a successful junior tennis career with cricket, which he eventually decided was his true calling.
