Chris Green: Australian cricketer Chris Green was suspended for one Sydney Grade Cricket match after getting into a physical altercation with a player and receiving threats of being hit. Luke Hodges of Penrith, who was playing for Northern Districts, is said to have threatened to hit Green during a two-day game between the two teams.
Hodges Faces Three-Match Ban
Green was given a ban as a result of his response to the possibility of being struck. Hodges received a three-match ban. In a T201 against India in December of last year, Green—who currently captains Sydney Thunder in the Big Bash League—made his debut on the international scene.

Chris Green is a tall offspinner who was reared in Australia but was born in South Africa. He became well-known for bowling in the T20 powerplay. He balanced a successful junior tennis career with cricket, which he eventually decided was his true calling. He made his Big Bash debut with the Sydney Thunder during their 2015–16 championship run, and he soon established himself as one of the league’s most reliable ball players.
