It was not long ago when Pandya was being booed heavily in the IPL 2024. But it seems like an event of a different era now. As every Indian fan in the Nassau County International Stadium was cheering his name.
He got the loudest cheer of the match when he dismissed Shadab Khan in the 17th over. Not only that wicket almost sealed the victory for India, but it also gave us one of the coolest celebrations in cricket ever.

The incident happened in the 17th over when Pakistan needed 32 runs in 22 deliveries. Pakistan still had 6 wickets in hand, which means they were in total control and had the chase in their hands.
That is when Pandya bowled his trademark bouncer delivery and dismissed Shadab Khan to turn the tide of the game. But what stole the show was his celebration after the wicket.
Instead of getting electrified after the wicket like everyone else, Pandya simply shrugged it off. Indicating like it is a usual thing for him. And it is true because whenever India is in trouble, he has delivered. That is why he is known as the clutch god.

It was a great comeback where India clutched the victory by 6 runs and it will be remembered for ages. It was another historic chapter in the India vs Pakistan rivalry.
