Warne led his team to uncountable victories over the years. But what really made him famous worldwide was his ball of the century against Mike Gatting There was no one who could turn the ball like Warne.
But a video released by County Cricket England features a delivery by Matt Parkinson that can really rival that delivery. The ball left the batsman shocked and the fans were just mesmerized by it.
Cricket Viral Video: Ball Of The Century
The delivery bowled by Parkinson is very similar to the ball that was bowled by Warne. Both the deliveries were going down the leg side and the batsman was casual with it. After all, there is no danger in that area.
But the ball took a massive turn and took off the off stump while the batsman was stranded on the leg stump with his casual pose. Both of the times, the batsman was left shocked and was not able to believe what had happened.
Parkison Did It Again
Well, this was not the only time when Parkison bowled a freak delivery with a massive turn. He bowled a similar freak delivery in the English franchise league ‘The Hundred‘ against Birmingham Phoenix.
Chris Cooke was on strike and Parkinson bowled a similar delivery down the leg side. The ball turned sharply and once again uprooted the off stump. It was a sight to see. Parkison has done this kind of feat for the England cricket team as well.
