Cricket Viral Video: During a T10 charity tournament in 2017 for the Shahid Afridi Foundation, Shoaib Malik pounded Babar Azam for six straight sixes in one over, grinding him across the wicket. In the charity match, Malik was already at 48* off 15 balls while playing for the “Green Team,” and Babar began to bowl in the seventh over of the game with the team total at 104-1.

Shoaib Malik hammers down six sixes

Malik wasted no time in smoking a magnificent shot right down the ground over the bowler’s head that landed well over the rope, taking advantage of the Pakistan captain’s occasional off-breaks.

In order to add another six to his innings total of eight, the all-rounder slogged a full angled in delivery for a massive maximum into the leg-side after reaching fifty. The following pitch, Babar attempted to bowl a little straighter but to no use as he saw the ball soar for six once more. He targeted the same spot with the same outcome.

Malik hit his fourth six, which brought him to 66* from 17 balls. He then got off his front foot and once more went for the mid-on boundary, earning praise from the commentators for his “high class hitting.” With the following delivery from Babar, Malik used a different strategy, striking towards the off-side and navigating a full delivery way over deep extra cover.

Malik ended strong by hammering the biggest maximum of his assault back over deep midwicket. The Green Team scored 210 runs from ten overs thanks to a ruthless exhibition of power hitting.

But after taking the brunt of Malik’s aggressiveness, Babar struck back at him by scoring an astonishing century in just 26 balls, helping his team to a nine-wicket triumph. Chris Gayle’s 30-ball record from the 2013 IPL would have been surpassed by Babar’s incredible second innings hundred, which would have been the quickest T20 century ever recorded had the match been sanctioned.
