Cricket Viral Video: One of cricket’s all-time great fast bowlers, Brett Lee, was also a legendary big-hitting batsman. He really holds the record for striking the longest six in cricket history. The event happened in 2005 during a test game between Australia and the West Indies. Australia batted first in the game, which took place at the Gabba in Brisbane.
Brett Lee hits a gigantic six
Six boundaries and one six were featured in Brett Lee’s 47-run innings. He was batting opposite Michael Clarke, and their goal in the last few overs of the innings was to score a lot of runs quickly. Fidel Edwards of the West Indies delivered a full-length delivery outside the off-stump on the third ball of the over. Lee, whose aggressive batting approach is well-known, pushed forward and hit a huge slog sweep.
The ball soared into the sky after hitting off the centre of the bat. After continuing to move over the boundary ropes, it finally landed 130 metres from the place of impact on the top of the Gabba’s grandstand. Lee hoisted his bat in joy after his amazing shot, drawing roars from the audience.
