In the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2024, India was supposed to play their final group-stage match against Canada on Saturday in Florida. But the match had to be abandoned because of heavy rainfall and a wet outfield.
This was the third match that was abandoned due to rain in this tournament. And every fan present in the stadium was frustrated and sad. They wanted to see their favorite stars in action or at least see a glimpse of them and the Indian stars made sure they won’t go empty-handed.

While the rainfall calmed down on Saturday, India vs Canada still could not start due to the wet outfield. The fans were losing hope and were getting frustrated with each passing second.
The continuous inspection of the ground was adding extra salt to the wounds as it was giving them hope before shattering them brutally. That is when Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Surya Kumar Yadav decided to come out with the Umpires.
This simple gesture by these three made the fans extremely happy. The sleeping and angry fans burst with joy as they saw a glimpse of their favorite stars. Kohli even stopped and embraced the love he was getting from the fans.

As soon as the fans saw these three stars, the chants of ‘Kohli-Kohli’ started echoing in the ground. It was a surreal scene as even the DJ was not able to subdue the cheers.
Kohli also embraced the love and acknowledged the crowd which gave the fans even more energy. It was sad that the fans were not able to see their favorite stars in action, but they tried to make the most out of a hopeless situation and it gave us this beautiful moment.
