Cricket Viral Video: In the Bangladesh Premier League, Andre Russell was the recipient of one of the most bizarre run outs you will ever witness, with the ball bouncing off one set of stumps and onto the other. Russell, who was representing Minster Group Dhaka in the second game of the BPL 2022 season, scored a single off his first ball, a six off his second, and then tried to work his third ball behind square on the off-side.
Ball hits both set of stumps
He and Mahmudullah began to run for a single when Khulna Tigers outfield Tanzid Hassan appeared to be endangering the batter at the striker’s end by taking a swing at the stumps. Mahmudullah had moved despite the direct hit he had delivered. Unexpectedly, the ball veered off the first set of stumps, rolled down the field, and slammed into the stumps at the non striker’s end. Russell had to walk off while checking behind him to see whether his companion had gained ground.
Despite Russell’s bad luck, Minster Group Dhaka still made 183-6. Netizens have been in awe of the video since it was uploaded. Many cricket enthusiasts were filled with joy and thrilled after seeing this rare incident. Not a usual sight in cricket, but surely a miraculous one.

Runouts are probably one of the worst way to get dismissed in cricket as most of the time it happens due to the mistake of the batter at other end. However, this one was surely a surprising one which shook the entire cricketing community.
