Cricket Viral Video: Although the frequency of cricket matches between India and Pakistan has reduced, their rivalry remains as strong as ever. The mere mention of an India-Pakistan contest evokes intense emotions among fans. It’s undeniable that Gautam Gambhir’s participation in these matches is of great significance and cannot be overlooked.

Intense battle between Gautam Gambhir & Kamran Akmal

During the 2010 Asia Cup match between India and Pakistan, a controversial moment occurred featuring Gautam Gambhir and Kamran Akmal. This incident unfolded as India chased a target of 268 runs for victory, with Gambhir, in fine form, partnering with MS Dhoni in their batting. In the 34th over, the bowler Saeed Ajmal appealed for a caught-behind dismissal on the last ball.

Even though umpire Billy Bowden ruled in favour of not declaring Gambhir out, the star batsman showed evident frustration at Kamran Akmal’s excessive appeals. Before this incident, Akmal had previously made a loud appeal during Shahid Afridi’s bowling. The tension escalated during the drinks break when Gambhir and Akmal got into a heated exchange on the field, prompting the umpires and MS Dhoni to intervene and mediate the situation.
