Haris Rauf rips apart batting order

Welsh Fire entered the game with the momentum of their first victory in the competition since 2021 and showcased early dominance against Brave in the initial phase of the innings. Electing to bowl first, they decimated the home side, reducing them to a staggering 76-8 with just 24 balls left in the innings.

The collapse was triggered primarily by the impeccable efforts of Haris Rauf and his fellow Pakistan teammate, Shaheen Shah Afridi. After Shaheen dismissed Devon Conway for the opening wicket, Rauf swiftly dealt with Finn Allen, catching him behind with his fourth delivery. Demonstrating his fierce pace, Rauf bowled a ruthless 89mph length ball to Garton, leaving him beaten and taking down his off stump.

As Garton helplessly watched his stump cartwheel out of the ground, his frustration led him to swing his bat in exasperation while Haris Rauf jubilantly shouted in celebration. With that wicket, Rauf secured two crucial breakthroughs in just three balls, leaving the Brave’s score at 47-4.

Nonetheless, Rauf concluded his spell with impressive figures of 3-27, leaving a remarkable impact on the match.
