Cricket Viral Video: In the US Masters T10, the 47-year-old Jacques Kallis displayed his prowess by hitting eight boundaries and three maximums, amassing an undefeated 64 runs from just 31 deliveries. The video of his knock is now getting immensely popular across various social media platforms.

The opening match of the California Knights against the New Jersey Tritons at Lauderhill had to be abandoned due to rain, with no deliveries bowled. Moving on to their subsequent match versus the Texas Chargers, Knights’ skipper Suresh Raina won the toss and elected to bat.

Jacques Kallis shines with a memorable knock

Texas made an impact right away, as wicketkeeper Ben Dunk executed a remarkable catch off Fidel Edwards’ bowling to dismiss Aaron Finch with only the second ball of the innings. Subsequently, Milind Kumar entered the field to partner with Jacques Kallis. In the second over, bowled by Sohail Tanvir, Kallis managed to edge the first delivery and then cut the following one, both of which resulted in boundaries. Displaying his signature cover-drive, he secured yet another four off the third delivery, and wrapped up the over with a fourth boundary.

Milind quickly outpaced Kallis, who nonetheless continued to score at a brisk pace. During the ninth over, Kallis lofted Edwards over square leg and followed it up with scooping him over fine leg for two sixes. The second of these shots propelled him to his fifty, achieved off just 26 balls. In the closing over, he struck another six by powerfully sending a full-toss from Umar Gul over the mid-wicket fence. He concluded the innings with a swept four. Kallis’ undefeated 64 off 31 deliveries comprised eight fours and three sixes.

On the opposite side, Milind maintained his unbeaten stance with a score of 76 off 28 balls, guiding California to a total of 158-1. Although Mukhtar Ahmed initiated an early attack with a quick 33 runs in 10 balls, Texas struggled against Ashley Nurse’s bowling (3-12) and could only muster 110-8.
