Cricket Viral Video: Virat Kohli is known for his aggressive style of game and the celebration he does throughout. This lesson was learned by West Indies cricketer Kesrick Williams during the team’s 2019 tour of India. Williams once mocked the then-India captain and it did not go too well with the bowler later.

Kohli’s revenge against Williams
During the first T20I of a bilateral series in Hyderabad in 2019, Virat Kohli displayed an outstanding performance that led the team to victory. Kohli scored an impressive 94 runs off just 50 balls, which has become one of his most memorable T20 performances to date. In addition to his exceptional skills, his unique celebration, which involved a notebook, gained a lot of attention and became the talk of the town.
During India’s innings, in the 16th over of the game, Kohli delivered a stunning six off a delivery from Williams. After hitting the ball, Kohli imitated Williams’ notebook celebration, which he had done during a previous match. Kohli’s notebook celebration was in response to Williams’ actions during a match between India and West Indies in 2017, where Williams had dismissed Kohli and did the same celebration while trying to mock him. Kohli had publicly criticized Williams after the game, stating that although players should play hard, they should not disrespect their opponents.

The video of the match has been tremendously viral on social media. Kohli’s celebration during the Hyderabad match suggested that he had not forgotten Williams’ previous actions and that he was using the moment to send a message to his opponent.
