Cricket Viral Video: In the books of cricket history, MS Dhoni stands out as an epitome of serenity and calmness. Throughout his career, both as a cricketer and a captain, he refrained from displaying anger on the field, thus earning the moniker ‘Captain Cool’. Dhoni’s remarkable capacity to maintain his composure even in high-pressure situations stands as his most significant asset. But, however, star spinner Yuzvendra Chahal once had to face the rare anger of MS in a T20I match versus England.

Chahal faces Dhoni’s anger

The incident occured during third T20I against England in the year 2017. After setting a target of 202 runs, India’s bowlers swiftly sent Sam Billings back to the pavilion without scoring, with Chahal claiming the dismissal in the second over. In the subsequent ball, another opportunity for a wicket presented itself. At No.3, Joe Root mishit a delivery from Chahal to the cover fielder, Virat Kohli. Jason Roy, positioned at the non-striker’s end, embarked on an ill-advised attempt at a nonexistent single.

Virat instantly threw the ball to Chahal at the non-striker’s end, where a simple hit on the stumps would have dismissed Roy. However, Chahal’s throw was aimed towards Dhoni, the wicketkeeper, apparently unknown to the batsmen’s positions. Amid the ensuing confusion, Roy managed to return to the non-striker’s end, securing the wickets of both batsmen. An evidently angry Dhoni was visibly seen expressing his frustration, directing his ire towards Chahal.
