Cricket Viral Video: Tom Price, a 23-year-old cricketer from Oxford who plays for Gloucestershire, had probably the greatest day during a cricket match against Worcestershire. He did two amazing things: first, he scored 100 runs when his team was in trouble, and second, he took three wickets in a row on Thursday and turned the tides of the game.
Historic achievement by Tom Price
Gloucestershire's captain Graeme van Buuren chose to bat first after winning the toss. However, things quickly went wrong for the team as they lost seven wickets and scored only 45 runs in just over 21 overs. Two of their top batters got out without scoring any runs, while the other two only scored a few runs.
At this point, things looked bleak for Gloucestershire, especially after Jack Taylor got out, leaving them in a desperate situation. But then, Tom Price came in to bat, he managed to score an impressive 109 runs off 98 deliveries, hitting 12 fours and four sixes before he was run out. This helped his team recover from a difficult position.
When Worcestershire started their innings, they got off to a good start, but medium-pacer Ajeet Dale was finally able to take a wicket when the score was 58 runs after 17.3 overs, getting opener Jake Libby out. After that wicket, things started to go really well for Gloucestershire. Tom Price stepped in and took three wickets in a row (which is called a hat-trick) by dismissing Azhar Ali, Jack Haynes, and skipper Brett D'Oliveira. This was a fantastic achievement for him on a great day. Later on, he also took the wicket of the other opener, Edward Pollock.

After the first day ended, Worcestershire trailed by 113 runs. The game was not possible on the second day due to rains and they will now take on them on the third day.
