Cricket Viral Video: Umesh Yadav, the Indian fast bowler, is famous for his hard-hitting style and his ability to score runs quickly. While he is known for his impressive bowling skills, he has also proven to be a valuable asset with the bat. In one instance during the third Test match at the JSCA Stadium in Ranchi in October 2019, he demonstrated his batting prowess by launching a sensational onslaught against spinner George Linde. Umesh played an excellent cameo, smashing five sixes in a 10-ball 31, all of which came off Linde’s bowling. The Indian captain, Virat Kohli, was also in awe of Umesh’s big hits, and his reaction went viral on social media.
Umesh Yadav Stuns with Big Sixes
After Ravindra Jadeja’s dismissal, Umesh Yadav came to bat with India at a score of 450/7. He didn’t take much time to settle in and quickly capitalized on the opportunity to face the spinner. In an impressive display of power hitting, Umesh faced only ten deliveries, smashing five huge sixes, four of which were towards the long-on region and one towards extra-cover. This exceptional batting performance was applauded by the Indian dressing room and captain Virat Kohli, who seemed to be thoroughly enjoying the tail-ender’s display of aggression.
Umesh Yadav’s quick-fire innings of 31 runs off just 10 balls played a crucial role in powering India’s first innings total to 497/9 in the Test match against South Africa. Following Umesh’s impressive cameo, the Indian captain Virat Kohli declared the innings, giving South Africa the chance to bat. However, Virat’s reaction as Umesh smashed the sixes was very well liked by the netiens as well.

While Umesh’s innings was certainly noteworthy, it was Rohit Sharma who was the real hero for India with the bat in the match. Rohit converted his sixth Test hundred into his maiden double century, hitting an incredible 212 runs off 255 balls. Along with Rohit, Ajinkya Rahane also played brilliantly, scoring a century of his own with 115 runs off 192 balls, providing excellent support to Rohit.
