Over the years, he has proven his worth as a fielder by taking several match-winning catches and completing iconic runouts. In the year 2016, he once left Shane Watson in a state of shock with an excellent catch-out. The video of the dismissal has gone rapidly viral in the last few days.
Jadeja pulls off a stunner
The Indian cricket team came to the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) for the second match of a three-game T20I series against Australia. The Indians were feeling excited with a 1-0 lead. They batted first and did really well, thanks to the great performances of Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, and Virat Kohli. They managed to score 184 runs, which was a pretty high score. When it was Australia’s turn to bat, they were doing okay at first, but then some of their top players got out quickly, making it hard for them to stay in the chase.
Shane Watson, an Australian cricketer, was batting fifth in a match. Australia was struggling at the time, and Watson was trying to help them get back on track. He hit the ball really hard and it looked like it might go for a boundary. However, Ravindra Jadeja was able to catch the ball in mid-air with both hands, even though he had very little time to react. It was such an effortless catch that Watson was left surprised and confused.

Shane Watson stood there for a minute as he was left completely shocked by what happened. The catch was completed in a blink of eye. This was the moment of utter surprise and shock for the Kangaroos.
