Cricket Viral Video: Former explosive Pakistani batsman Shahid Afridi, also known as “Boom-Boom,” is known for his six-hitting abilities and fiery knocks. Though, he retired years back, he recently played in the new cricket league Mega Stars League 2022, which began in Pakistan. In the league’s inaugural match, while playing for Karachi Knights, he played a blazing inning with his bat against Lahore Maharaja, and everyone was once more left awestruck.
Shahid Afridi goes berserk
The Karachi Knights and Lahore Maharajas played their first game in the Rawalpindi Stadium as part of the Mega Stars League 2022, which officially began in Pakistan on December 18. Lahore Maharaja selected to bowl first after winning the toss in this game. Shahid Afridi, a former player from Pakistan, scored 30 runs in 8 balls with a strike rate of 375, including 3 fours and 3 sixes for Karachi Knights. He played until he was eventually retired hurt.
In addition to these, Inzamam Ul Haq displayed quick batting as well as he scored 31 off 14 balls, leading the team to a score of 135 runs in 10 overs with the loss of just one wicket. In contrast, Lahore Maharaja’s start was a complete disaster, as both of their openers quickly lost their wickets, Yasir Hameed took three, Noman Habib retired to the pavilion after scoring only six runs, and Lahore Maharaj failed to chase this target and the team piled up after scoring. Karachi Knights eventually won by a score of 29 runs.

Shahid Afridi played in 329 T20 matches and has amassed 4399 runs, with a high score of 101. At the same time, he has taken 347 wickets overall. From 1996 to 2018, the right-handed batsman played a crucial role for Pakistan. He played 524 games throughout this time, scoring 476 sixes in 52 tests, 351 ODIs, and 73 T-20 matches.
