Cricket Viral Video: Cricket surely has some of the best timeless story to tell. In a similar instance, there is a unique incident from Pakistan’s tour of Australia in 1999/2000. Dennis Lilee, age 50, and his son Adam Lilee, age 22, came sprinting in from opposite ends. Both ensuring that the opposing batters have a challenging day at work.
A father-son duo shared six wickets between them to completely destroy the opposition in one of the most unusual situations ever to occur on a cricket pitch. the 1999–2000 season, when Pakistan was on a tour to Australia. In a warm-up game, Pakistan faced off against the Chairman’s XI of the Australian Cricket Board (ACB) at the time.

Dennis returned to the pitch in October 1999 after quitting cricket in 1984. He was included as his son’s teammates on the squad. In the game, Dennis, who was 50 at the time, threw eight overs and finished with the numbers 8-4-8-3. Adam, his son, had statistics of 6-0-29-3 and was somewhat costly, although he also took three wickets. In addition to his father’s wickets of Ghulam Ali, Abdul Razzaq, and Shoaib Akhtar, son also contributed with the dismissals of Wajahatullah Wasti, Ijaz Ahmed, and Yousuf Youhana (now Mohammad Yousuf).

The ACB Chairman’s XI finally won the game by seven wickets after bowling out Pakistan for 168 in 44 overs. In 23.3 overs, the home team successfully chased the target. Australia and Pakistan had earlier that year faced off in the 1999 ICC Cricket World Cup final in England. Adam Smith never played for Australia.
