Cricket Viral Video: Zaheer Khan was India’s one of the most formidable bowler and was known for his sheer pace and skills. Showing his prowess, in a match against New Zealand in World Cup, the bowler took four wickets with two of them being in his first over itself. His spell made Kiwis reel at the score of 0/2.

Zaheer Khan wreaks havoc with ball

Men in Blue had a dull start in the tournament. However, after their defeat against Aussies in the group stage, India picked up the momentum and went on to win every single match from thereon. In a crucial match, India were playing against Kiwi.

The Kiwis were under pressure since they needed to win to go on to the next round. India has already advanced to the tournament’s semifinals at that point. In the important match, Sourav Ganguly chose to bowl first after winning the toss. India’s fast bowling assault was unleashed in order to decimate the New Zealand top order.

The phenomenal Zaheer Khan struck in the second and third balls of the game, dismissing Craig McMillan and Nathan Astle, respectively, leaving New Zealand stunned and paralyzed with the score of 0/2. Kiwis at one point were 96 for seven wickets, however they soon made a turnaround and managed to score 146 runs in 45.1 overs. Zaheer Khan finished his spell with four for 42 runs.

India got off to a similar start as well after opener Sachin Tendulkar and Virendra Sehwag were dismissed cheaply. However, with Mohammed Kaif’s 68* and Rahul Dravid’s 52*, India easily chased off the target and won the match by seven wickets.
